Thanksgiving is not just a holiday to celebrate by eating a lot of food until you can barely move. It is a holiday for expressing gratitude. There is always something to be thankful for. Some may include family, friends, your home, a job, or even something as simple as the clothes and shoes you wear.

There are also many ways to show your appreciation for something or someone. For instance, if you are thankful for a family member you could give them a present like a gold necklace they have been asking for, or take them to eat at their favorite restaurant. Or just let them know in person how much you care about them.
